Welcome
My name is Brentny McCune and I am a certified Sign Language Interpreter. I have been certified under the Texas State Board of Evaluation of Interpreters since 2019. I am looking to contract with businesses in the DFW area in hope to grow my network as a contractor.

I aim to build strong foundations of trust with all of my clients and partners. I am confident I will bring a high level of competency and professionalism to each opportunity.

Translation and Interpretation Network
Independent Contractor - Sign Language Interpreter

I am able to facilitate effective communication and cultural mediation between Deaf/Hard of Hearing and hearing clients in a variety of settings such as, medical, K-12, post-secondary, businesses, and warehouses. I can identify and reciprocate a client’s mode of communication as well as manage confidential information within personal and professional situations. I work well with other interpreters on teamed assignments and can establish protocols and boundaries based on individual clients and locations. I have experience mentoring student interpreters before, during, and after assignments, which includes providing constructive non-evaluative feedback and professional guidance.
